A reflection on the existence as an (life-)artist
A conglomerate of faliure
a kaleidoscope of procrastination
a potpourri of fretfulness
a smogasbord of burdensome legacy
a confusion of anxiety about the future
A reflection on the existence as an (life-)artist-
GOOD EVENING and wellcome to this nights...
...
oh...eh? lights are off...wait...
.they turned the lights off...eh...hello?
There's got to be a switch somewhere...
...is anybody there? hello? ...
they cant...just like that!...all this work for...INSOLENCE! ...

Armed with irony and much humour today we dare to venture into the dark sides of the human mind and at the point where self-doubts dwell we flick the light on – cause bight neon light has always wiped away all self-pity! An evening about the fear of faliure, about procrastination and alleged fear of the future.

„Especially impressive, […] the opening play set the bar high for the whole festival: The Berlin collective RETROFUTURISTEN shows the inside of a young artist‘s head in ver_SCHLIMM_bessern. Inspired by the life of universal artist Einar Schleef an emotional scenario between existencial fear and artistic hubris unfurls."
